About the Role
We are hiring an ABA Patient Intake Specialist to support families at the beginning of their ABA therapy journey. This role focuses on intake coordination, gathering accurate patient information, and ensuring families understand the next steps in receiving services.
Prior ABA or autism services experience is required. You will regularly speak with families, review intake documentation, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure patients are properly prepared for scheduling and care delivery.
Spanish fluency is highly valued, as many families prefer communication in Spanish, but strong English communication is required for documentation and internal coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound patient intake requests for ABA services
- Collect, verify, and organize intake forms and referrals
- Communicate clearly with families regarding intake status and next steps
- Use Spanish when assisting Spanish-speaking families
- Enter and maintain accurate patient data in internal systems
- Flag missing or incorrect information that may delay services
- Coordinate with scheduling and care teams for smooth handoff
- Follow intake SOPs and maintain data accuracy standards
What You Bring
- Required: Prior experience in ABA, autism therapy, or behavioral health intake
- Experience communicating with families in healthcare settings
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Professional phone presence with empathy and clarity
- Spanish-speaking ability (preferred)
